Ideal location – close to the shopping district and malls, just a short walk away. September was definitely a great time to visit, everything was just right! 🛍️

The staff here were really friendly and attentive. It's super peaceful and the location is convenient even though it's in the desert. Ate at the Ilkari Restaurant, which was quite near. 🌵

The rooms in this place have shared bathrooms, and the location is extremely quiet, located next to other facilities, restaurants, and a bar in a shopping district.

I had a great stay in September at Outback Hotel in Ayers Rock. The breakfast was sensational with plenty of options. The staff were professional and knowledgeable about the area. The location was convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Red Desert Reptiles. The outdoor restaurant near the hotel served delicious food, and the pool was lovely. I appreciated having warm drinks in the salad bar and found the late check-out to be very useful.

I stayed in the four-person bunk dormitory at this resort to avoid the sky-high prices at the other options. Luckily, I had compatible bunkmates and enjoyed a comfortable stay. The shuttle service provided within the resort and to the airport was complimentary, making transportation convenient. The reception staff, including Mae Kang, John Marshall, and Rishi Dhingra, greeted me warmly and provided helpful information to make the most of my stay. Their excellent service reflected well on the hotel and the overall resort.
Nothing at all!

I stayed at the Outback Pioneer Hotel in 2009 and again this year and I must say that this year's visit was a lot more pleasant, mainly due to the staff I dealt with. All staff members seemed to really want to please and there was a very high standard of customer service from front desk to maintenance man to bar staff to cleaner. After my 2009 visit (where a few things went wrong), I was reluctant to return to my travelling companion insisted. After this year's visit, I will happily return and will recommend the hotel to friends and family.
Things (factilities) appeared a little 'tired' as there were quite a few maintenance issues eg. Toilets running, computer mouse not working, noisy/old heater in room. I think that for the rate charged for the rooms, these things should be checked on and repaired as quickly as possible. It was a shame to have running toilets and broken door locks take the edge of such good customer service and otherwise pleasant/comfortable facilities.

The hotel was "fine" though perhaps more basic than some of the others in the resort.Nice swimmimg pool and good outdoor bar facility - shared with the lodge and camping guests.
